ADVANCED
HEARING AID SOFTWARE

SonoCheck is a modern, intuitive, and minimalist application for effectively testing and adjusting hearing aids.

A Japanese bento grid design layout was used to create clear visual structures and designed in accordance with

current Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) so that the software can also be used barrier-free

(in terms of color contrasts, feedback, target size, grids, headline structure, content clustering, etc.).

Its intuitive and clearly structured UX/UI makes it easy and efficient to use, regardless of the user's level of experience. SonoCheck supports testing of a wide variety of hearing aid types and facilitates the analysis, fine-tuning, and optimization of hearing systems. This makes the entire hearing aid testing process faster, more accurate, and accessible to all users.

Taking the UX laws (including Jakob's Law, Miller's Law, etc.) into account, an intuitive, pleasant user experience was developed through aesthetically appealing design. The law of proximity was applied to ensure that elements with related functions are spatially close to each other.

The most important buttons are placed in close proximity to the thumb, in accordance with Fitts' Law, especially for use on a tablet. Additional functions can be accessed and activated via a drop-down side menu to minimize complexity and sensory overload on the main screen.

Sound positions can be moved individually via drag and drop (or optionally with the mouse). In addition, the entire map can be moved and zoomed using a two-finger gesture (touch), the mouse wheel, or the arrow keys.

The overall volume as well as the volume of the individual audio channels can be controlled using sliders or by manually entering values.
