AIRPORT
FIRE ENGINE
Talon is an autonomous fire fighting vehicle for future airfields and serves as a kind of protective wall between the danger zone and its surroundings. The vehicle is monitored by drones and an operator in a command center to ensure smooth operation. A ceramic thermal shield allows a close distance to the source of danger and is the optimal protective barrier when evacuating passengers. In addition to that, Talon produces walls of water mist against the heat radiation. It communicates with the environment via a micro perforation display in its body.
Cooperation with:

The left turbine of an aircraft catches fire and the pilot manages to make an emergency landing at the nearest airport. The autonomous airport firefighting vehicle TALON is on its way to the burning aircraft.
An operator monitors the entire scene via an interactive screen in the control tower. Drones allow views from multiple perspectives and the operator can switch his view from LIVE to VR MODE. This allows him to see all important information at a glance: The number of evacuees, casualties, more detailed information on the individual firefighting and evacuation vehicles and much more.
THE SZENARIO
THE CONCEPT
„The vehicle as a protecting shield towards the danger zone.“
The autonomous Talon vehicles build a barrier to protect the evacuating passengers. The shielded side of the vehicle faces the heat while the other side communicates with the environment via a display-like micro perforation in its body. Water-mist-walls between multiple vehicles close the heating gaps.
